In the old days (even before I was born), babies were welcomed into the tribe in a very special way. The Song of your Soul was recognized.
Our culture has shifted and we are in a paradigm where pregnancy and birth are viewed and treated as medical conditions. We have forgotten that our babies know how to be born. We do not have to remind our babies to work on developing their heart, how to make an ear or how to map out their digestive system. There is an innate intelligence that controls it all. That same intelligence also knows when and how to get mom’s body ready to give birth. There is also a birthing sequence that baby needs to follow. It’s a beautiful process, that has its own timing and when it is interrupted everything gets out of sync.
As adults, we may still be carrying some of the imprints when a birthing sequence is interrupted.
